Love is Love

Rev. Dr. Brice Thomas

"From the first moment I stepped foot into this church, I knew this was the place for me. Holy Trinity is the church that I had been praying for since being ordained in 2005. I cried through most of that first service, and felt the presence of God all around me. I knew that I had come home."

Pastor Brice is a native of Dayton, Ohio, and moved to Nashville to join the staff of Holy Trinity Community Church on September 5, 2017. He is excited to be called into ministry with this loving congregation and welcomes all people to experience the hospitality and acceptance of this amazing church!

Brice served in the Air Force as a Russian Cryptolinguist in the early 80s. He was stationed in West Berlin, Germany before the wall came down in 1989. After his military service he finished his undergraduate degree in International Studies and Religion at Wright State University in Dayton in 1995. He then attended graduate school at Antioch University in Yellow Springs, Ohio where he studied Conflict Resolution and Mediation. Brice began to feel the call to ministry in 1997 after joining a UCC church in his home town. He completed his Masters of Divinity in 2004 at United Theological Seminary in Dayton, Ohio and also earned his Doctor of Ministry in Biblical Storytelling in 2015.
