Welcome to the Next Book

Last week marked the closing of a significant chapter in the history of our church. Today, we stand at the threshold of a new beginning. Have you ever felt the excitement of starting fresh, like opening a beautiful journal waiting to be written in?

Transition periods can be daunting, filled with anxiety and fear. It's normal to feel uncertain about the path ahead. But in times of change, it's crucial to remember - to RE-member as Pastor J.Rae mentioned in their sermon this Sunday.

Remembering God's Faithfulness

Just like the Israelites in the wilderness, we may find ourselves in unfamiliar territory, unsure of what lies ahead. But just as God provided for them, God continues to be our provider today. Reflecting on past instances where God showed up in our lives personally can be a source of strength and reassurance.

Embracing Change with Faith

As we embark on this new journey as a church community, let us take a moment to breathe deeply and center ourselves. Inhale the memories of God's faithfulness, and exhale any lingering fears and anxieties. Let us envision ourselves falling into the loving arms of Jesus, finding comfort and hope in His presence.

Gratitude and Anticipation

Today, we are not just starting a new chapter; we are beginning to write a NEW STORY for our church's history. Let's express gratitude for the provision we have received and look forward with anticipation to the future.

As we move forward together, let's continue to share stories of how God has shown up in our lives. Let's support and uplift one another as we navigate this transition with faith and hope.

May we be reminded of God's unwavering presence and provision as we journey onward. Amen.
